With varying levels of IT literacy among their farmer members, the solution needed to be intuitive and straightforward whilst maintaining robust security to protect sensitive farm and business data

Dynamic Form Builder with multi-step questionnaires, auto-save functionality and data import/export capabilities. Forms could be assigned to specific farm groups with automated reminder emails and progress tracking.
Flexible File Management System allowing targeted distribution of documents to individual farms, farm groups or all members. Farmers could upload certificates and documents to designated folders for admin review.
Event Management Module with registration, dietary requirements tracking, automated confirmations and attendance monitoring. Events could be tagged by geographic area to help farmers find relevant local activities.
Comprehensive CRM Database for managing members, farms, farm groups, certifications, projects and contacts with searchable fields and CSV export functionality.
Board Nomination System enabling anonymous voting with one vote per farm, candidate profiles and secure results management.

The interface was designed with non-technical users in mind, featuring clear labelling, visual icons for guidance and step-by-step instructions throughout. The responsive design ensured farmers could access the portal from any device, whether in the office or out in the field.
GSL also handled data migration from the existing system, providing CSV templates and working closely with Omsco to ensure accurate transfer of all member, farm and historical data into the new platform.

Better Data Management: The CRM system gave Omsco complete visibility of their member base with powerful search, filtering and export capabilities. Certificate tracking ensured compliance monitoring whilst project grouping enabled targeted communications.
User-Friendly Experience: The clean, intuitive interface required minimal training. Farmers of all technical abilities could navigate the portal confidently, accessing the information and tools they needed without confusion or frustration.
