The Challenge.
Talehay Cottages are a regular customer of GSL Media. In order to provide a more contemporary and inviting online presence to potential customers, Talehay Cottages decided to update their branding and website. They were searching for a way to highlight their renovated farmhouse cottages and breathtaking location after just having some new photographs of the cottages and surrounding area. For this reason the new design needed to showcase the new photographs in large format.
The Solution.
GSL implemented a fresh and modern design created to enhance the brand recognition and bring the photographs to the forefront of the viewers attention. The website makes use of bold colours and decorative graphics to help make it stand out. The user journey has been considered and now provides the user with clear routes of navigation around the website. Presenting the information and imagery in an eyecatching and engaging way to entice vistors to make a booking. GSL worked with Talehay to intergate a booking management system which allows for easy booking for the user.
The Results.
The colorful style and use of large photos on Talehay’s new website perfectly depict the holiday homes and family-run business’s ethos. Now that the website is simple and clear to maintain and manage for Talehay, managing reservations is a stress-free process. The website is fully editable and adaptable to various screen sizes which means that Talehay are no longer restricted to fixed content widths and unresponsive layouts.
