GSL rebuilt the KF Kitchens website from the ground up on PayloadCMS, delivering a fast, modern, and fully manageable platform that gives the business complete control over its digital presence.
The design centred on creating a high-end visual identity appropriate to the premium kitchen market. Carefully considered layout, premium imagery, and sophisticated colour application were used to communicate quality and craftsmanship from the moment a visitor lands on the site. Video banner content, produced by White Lane Media, was integrated across key pages including individual kitchen range pages and the showroom booking section.
A structured content architecture was developed, organising kitchen ranges, appliances, projects, recipes, and company information into logical, accessible sections. Each kitchen range (Nolte, Nolte Neo, Burbidge, and Kitchen Makers by Burbidge) received a dedicated page featuring introductory content, key features, a carousel gallery, and links to manufacturer resources. Appliance brand pages followed the same approach, covering Neff, Siemens, Miele, Smeg, and Liebherr.
A filterable case studies section was built to showcase completed installations, with each entry structured around location, work carried out, timescale, the problem, the solution, the outcome, and customer testimonial. Blog and recipe sections were implemented as scalable post-type archives with category filtering, giving the business ongoing channels for content and SEO growth.
A showroom booking page with an integrated form was created, alongside a full contact page with Google Maps integration and spam protection via reCAPTCHA. Trust Index was integrated to pull verified Google and Facebook reviews into the site, providing genuine social proof across the customer journey.
Meta Pixel and Google Analytics were configured with event tracking for key conversions, and a localised SEO strategy was developed targeting affluent postcodes across South Devon and the Plymouth surrounds.
